The Scl2 V globular domain was included in our plasmid because the Scl2 protein is naturally expressed by several bacterias includes the Scl2 V globular domain and aids in the triple helix assembly of the collagen. Make sure that a 5'UTR is present before this sequence and in between the promoter and the start codon.
